Overview
Widely regarded as the premier tournament in the World Sevens Series in Rugby Union, the Hong Kong 7s is held annually in Hong Kong at the end of March. The Sevens party lasts all weekend - as may the hangovers! This really is one of the greatest sporting occasions that all rugby fans dream of experiencing at least once in a lifetime.
At this year’s Hong Kong Rugby 7s, Fiji won a gruelling final 26-24 to clinch a famous
victory against South Africa and claimed their first Hong Kong title, sparking jubilant scenes of celebration for Fiji's players and fans. Hong Kong will roll out the red carpet again for the Hong Kong 7s teams and supporters in March 2010. For three action-packed days, Asia's world city is going to rock and roll all day and all night as the world's top Rugby 7s teams vie to be the new champion.
